Dosing Calendars

There is no right or wrong dosing protocol and we understand that sticking to a schedule can be difficult. That's why we usually recommend choosing a strategy that works for you and your lifestyle. Thankfully microdosing is forgiving and taking days off is incredibly beneficial for maximizing their full potential. Remember that even though you may not be "feeling" the effects on either on or off days, we can assure you the mushys are working hard behind the scenes!

Below are two calendars developed by top Mycology Gurus, as well as a beginner strategy that we have developed to help guide you on your journey. After experimenting many people prefer to customize their own unique schedule and since you know your body best feel free to experiment with what works best for you!

It it always however recommended to take days off to give your body a chance to rest, recover, and heal in order to get the most out of your microdosing journey.

Fadiman Protocol

Named after James Fadiman aka the "father of microdosing" this protocol is all about the in between. It promotes dosing once every three days with one transition and one normal day of rest between. It is intended to be consumed over a 4 - 8 week cycle, with two to four weeks between each.

Day 1: Microdose 1

Day 2: Transition

Day3: Normal/Rest

Day 4: Microdose 2

Stamets Protocol

Invented by and named after Paul Stamets, the world renowned mycology guru and author. He suggests dosing for four consecutive days followed by three days off, on a four week cycle with two - four weeks of rest in-between.

Day 1-4: Microdose

Day 5-7: Transition/Rest

Day 8-11: Microdose

Intermittent Protocol

This beginner calendar is to help your system ease into using psilocybin. It is a hybrid of the two previous recommendations and plays around with dosing levels to help you determine the right one for you. We recommend evaluating your journey after the first month to see what works best for you.
